Features of the Department of Literary Linguistics
The doctoral program consists of three research areas: Japanese language and literature, English and American literature, and language education (Japanese language education course and English language education course), and provides advanced education and research in literature, linguistics, and language education related to Japan and the United States. This is based on the education and research in the master's program.
In addition to deepening your expertise in your major research field, you will develop an interdisciplinary perspective by taking courses in other fields, and develop talented individuals who can play an active role in education and research both domestically and internationally.
