Payment	[Travel until the second semester of 2025] Certified international student scholarships (privately funded)	Fee-paid Study Abroad Program	This scholarship is for students who are participating in self-financed, certified study abroad programs and are taking regular courses at the study abroad destination. The scholarship covers the tuition fees of the department of our university. Language study abroad programs are not eligible.
Payment	[Travel from the first half of 2026] Certified international student scholarships (privately funded)	Fee-paid Study Abroad Program	This scholarship is for students who are participating in self-financed study abroad programs and are taking regular courses at the study abroad destination. The scholarship will be paid up to the lesser of the tuition fee of the department of our university or the tuition fee of the study abroad destination. Language study abroad programs are not eligible.
Payment	Global Scholarships (Short-term)	①Showa Boston Short-Term Program/Short-Term Partner University Overseas Training/ Overseas internship ➁S-GLAP	This scholarship aims to encourage students to acquire advanced language skills and participate in study abroad programs in a multicultural environment. ① The amount of the grant varies depending on the program, but for short-term training programs, 3 to 7 yen will be paid (there are grant standards and limits on the number of recipients). ② If an S-GLAP registrant participates in a short-term overseas training program, 5 yen will be paid regardless of the above payment criteria (there is a limit on the amount of concurrent payments).
Payment	Global Scholarship (Long Term)	①Showa Boston Long-Term Program ②TUJ Credit Transfer Program (Self-Funded Courses) 3. University of Queensland DD	This scholarship aims to encourage students to acquire advanced language skills and participate in study abroad programs in a multicultural environment. ① Students who participate in the Boston study abroad program for one semester or more will receive 1 yen (subject to grant criteria and limited number of recipients). *Applicable from Spring 20. ② Students who participate in TUJ credit-transfer program courses at their own expense will be paid 12 yen upon completion of the program. ➂Selected students participating in the University of Queensland double degree program will be awarded 120 million yen per term.
Payment	Showa Boston Special Scholarship	Showa Boston Long-Term Program	Special scholarship from Showa Boston. Students participating in a study abroad program in Boston for one semester or more will be awarded $1 ,1,000(there are criteria and limits on the number of recipients).
Payment	Inoue Tokio Scholarship	University of Queensland DD	Scholarship based on the will of the Dr. Tokio Inoue. A total of 100 million yen will be paid to selected students participating in the University of Queensland Double Degree Program in four terms.
Payment	<External Scholarships> Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Overseas Study Support Scholarship	The target programs vary depending on the year.	This is a non-repayable scholarship provided by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). The number of recipients is determined by the program, and selection is based on academic performance and household income standards. Monthly scholarship: 8 -12 yen/month (varies depending on study abroad destination) Study Abroad Fund: ①Household income standard: 16 yen (conditions apply) 　　　　　　②Dispatch period: 1 yen (subject to payment conditions)
Payment	<External Scholarships> Public-Private Partnership Overseas Study Support Program "Tobitate! Study Abroad JAPAN New Japan Representative Program"	Unspecified	An overseas study support system sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology through public-private collaboration. The goal is for the dispatched students and supporting companies to work together to form a global talent community, and to develop them into "talent that is needed in society, particularly in the industrial sector," and "talent that can be active on the world stage with a global perspective." Monthly scholarship: 12 yen or 16 yen/month (varies depending on study abroad destination/must be enrolled at study abroad destination for at least 15 days per month) Study abroad preparation fee: 15 yen or 25 yen (depending on study abroad destination) Tuition support: 30 yen flat rate *Tuition other than university/graduate school tuition and language tuition only are not covered Official HP:https://tobitate-mext.jasso.go.jp/newprogram/
Payment	<External Scholarships> Transcosmos Foundation Study Abroad Support Grant	Showa Boston Long-Term Program / Curriculum Study Abroad / Exchange Study Abroad / Self-Funded Study Abroad	This scholarship is provided to financially support students who participate in overseas study as part of the Transcosmos Foundation's international human resource development program. Students participating in long-term study abroad are provided with 30 yen per person. There is a limit to the number of students, and recipients are selected through a screening process.
Payment	<External Scholarships> Sato Yo International Scholarship Foundation Study Abroad Scholarships	Study abroad for at least six months and two semesters in designated countries in ASEAN and Southwest Asia	This is a grant-type scholarship provided by the Sato Yo International Scholarship Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation. It is for studying abroad in 18 countries in ASEAN and Southwest Asia. There are academic standards, and the foundation also conducts selection. Monthly scholarship: 10 yen *18 yen in Singapore Travel expenses etc.: 25 yen Lump sum exchange student allowance: 15 yen Insurance fee: Actual cost up to 15 yen
