Study Abroad Scholarship Information
We will introduce information about scholarships that can be used for short-term overseas training and long-term study abroad that you can participate in while in school.Only scholarships that need to be applied for through the university are listed here, but there are other scholarships offered by local governments, various foundations, and overseas universities for international students, so please search individually.
Loan Type | Showa Gakuen Scholarship | An interest-free loan type scholarship that allows you to change the payment for studying in Boston to up to 96 installments (with examination). |
Payment | Accredited International Student Scholarship | Scholarships for privately financed study abroad participants who take regular courses at the study abroad destination.An amount equivalent to the tuition fee of the department to which the student belongs will be paid.Language study abroad is not covered. |
Payment | Global scholarship | Scholarships aimed at encouraging the acquisition of advanced language skills and participation in study abroad programs in multicultural environments. Benefit amounts vary depending on the program. For long-term study abroad, 50,000 yen to 1,200,000 yen/term will be paid, and for short-term training, 30,000 yen to 60,000 yen will be paid (subject to payment criteria and number of recipients). |
Payment | Inoue Tokio Scholarship | Scholarship based on the will of the late Professor Tokio Inoue.A total of 1,000,000 yen will be distributed over four periods to selected students participating in the University of Queensland Double Degree Program. |
Payment | Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Overseas Study Support Scholarship | A non-repayable scholarship provided by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).The number of students to be paid is determined by the program, and selection is based on grades and household standards. *The program subject to payment changes depending on the year.

Payment | Public-Private Partnership Study Abroad Support System “Tobitate! Study Abroad JAPAN Japan Representative Program” | An overseas study support system sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology through public-private collaboration.
The aim is to form a global human resource community together with dispatched students and supporting companies, and to develop human resources who are required by society, especially in the industrial world, and who can play an active role in the world and with a global perspective. Monthly scholarship: 120,000 yen or 160,000 yen/month (varies depending on the study abroad region/must be enrolled at the study abroad destination for at least 15 days per month) Study abroad preparation fee: 150,000 yen or 250,000 yen (varies depending on study abroad destination) Tuition Fee Assistance: Fixed amount of 300,000 yen (Flat amount of 1 yen if you plan to study abroad for one year or more) *Tuition fees other than university/graduate school and language tuition fees are not eligible. |
