Details about Showa Women's University's study abroad programs are posted on the CIE current student portal site from time to time, but information sessions are also held each semester, for each type of study abroad program, and for each program. In addition to information sessions that introduce the details of each program and how to apply, there are also information sessions that provide information about Showa Women's University's study abroad programs in general. In addition, study abroad events are held to make studying abroad feel more familiar to students. Many study abroad information sessions and events are held in the Global Lounge during lunch breaks, and any current student can participate.

Individual study abroad consultation

In order to help students find a study abroad option that suits their individual needs and level from among a variety of study abroad options, staff at the International Exchange Center also provide individual study abroad consultations to current students.Make an appointment for an individual consultation in advance, clear any questions you may have about your study abroad program, and prepare for your study abroad in a way that satisfies your needs!

In the case of privately funded study abroad, any overseas university is eligible, but the information that universities can provide is limited.While making good use of private study abroad placement agencies, it is also possible to receive individual email consultations from external study abroad advisors (JAOS certified study abroad counselors) affiliated with our university.

TOEIC®︎ Listening & Reading IP test is conducted on campus throughout the year.We also offer seminars on preparing for English qualification exams required for job hunting, studying abroad, teacher employment exams, etc.We provide detailed support, taking into account that students not only have different English proficiency, but also different motivations for learning and different attitudes toward English. Power English (Daily English conversation lessons)

This course is operated by Westgate Co., Ltd., a subcontractor.
You can take 40 minutes of authentic English conversation lessons every day on campus.All instructors are native speakers and are professionals in teaching English.Moreover, it is much more reasonable than a general English conversation school.Recommended for those who are aiming to study English before or after studying abroad, improve their TOEIC score, etc.
