What made you decide to study Environmental Design?
It was a senior from my high school days who told me about this department. I was attracted to the idea of being able to learn design from a variety of fields. After enrolling, I specialized in fashion design.
What did you learn?
While learning theories and production techniques of fashion design, students are gaining valuable experience in bringing to life what they have imagined with their own hands. In the Fashion Design Management course, a fashion show is held every year with the participation of around 200 people. In my third year, I served as the representative of the show, learning the importance of taking responsibility for my actions and working together with my peers.
What do you want to work on next?
After graduation, I will join a fashion brand I admire as a sales representative. My goal is to gain experience there and in the future work in the press, responsible for public relations and PR for the brand. In addition to the expertise I learned at university, I am continuing to study English and Korean with a view to working overseas.
Which class left an impression on you?
In my first year, I took on the challenges of all four courses in the "Design Basics" course. At the critique session, I was shocked by the unique ideas of the other students. I was inspired by the advice and opinions of my classmates and teachers from different courses, and this class gave me a strong desire to grow even more.
