Think about your future career path through an internship in Hong Kong.

I interned at Arrow Shipbroking Group Hong Kong, a Hong Kong-based company that brokers transactions between ship owners and buyers. During my internship, I not only compiled recent news related to ships, but also researched Japanese shipyards. I realized that popular ships have a lower environmental impact, and I realized that consideration for the environment is becoming more important in modern business. Together with our employees, we accompanied them to transaction sites with clients and learned what actions to take to ensure a smooth transaction. The biggest benefit for me was that I started thinking about my future career path while seeing the attitude of the employees towards their work (Yuna Komai, TUJ Double Degree Program graduate).
International Studies_01_Hong KongI felt that my English and research skills were improved through practical work.
This is the result of the double degree program.

Learn about the local system through an internship in Vietnam.

While studying abroad in Vietnam, I participated in an internship at The Libero & Associates, a consulting company run by Japanese people. Through her work, she learned about the legal and administrative systems related to Vietnamese companies, and discussed with employees the issues that Japanese companies face when expanding into Vietnam. I would like to utilize this experience in my future career (Hanaizumi Makino, 3rd year student studying abroad in Vietnam).
International Studies_02_VietnamHe also has practical experience in providing legal and administrative support to Japanese companies expanding into Vietnam.

Participated in an internship while studying abroad in Spain.

After studying abroad in Spain, I wanted to use Spanish, so I participated in an internship at the library at Instituto Cervantes Tokyo. My main job was to return Spanish books to the shelves, as well as translate documents into Japanese to be distributed to users. I had many opportunities to talk with the Spanish museum director and visitors, and it was a very fun and fulfilling time (Maya Kuwabara, 3rd year student studying abroad in Spain).
