She started learning English from an early age and won first place in a speech contest in junior high school. She chose this department because she would be able to interact with Temple University students, her study abroad experience would be integrated into the curriculum, and she felt she could further develop her English skills.
Studied abroad at Showa Boston in the second year and Endicott College in the third year. At first, I didn't fit in at Endicott College and felt lonely. I want to overcome this situation somehow. With this in mind, I consulted with a local student who supports international students, and I started getting invited to club activities and outings, and little by little, I started making more friends. Overseas, you can open up a path by being open about yourself. Once I realized this, I began to consciously talk to them.
I will be working at an anime production company from April. Our goal is to spread our works and goods to the world. To achieve this, we will use English and French to learn about each country's culture and values while thinking about the best approach.
1st year: I learned the points to focus on when learning English.
In "Comparative Cultural Theory," students learn about the differences in thought processes from the language structures of Japanese, English, and Korean. I learned what to focus on when listening to English, and it became easier to understand what the other person wanted to say.
2nd year: Gain new perspectives through lively discussions.
During my study abroad in Boston in the Showa era, I realized the importance of verbalizing my opinions and trying to understand the messages of others through active discussions with faculty and students.
3rd year: Exposure to diversity at an American university.
At Endicott College, he meets students from diverse backgrounds and learns that this is an important part of their identity. This gave me an opportunity to face my own cultural background and values.
4th year Learn a new language through international exchange.
Interact with people of the same age through the "Japan-China-Korea Program." I meet people with the same consciousness and concerns as myself and feel a sense of kinship. She wants to speak more, so she starts learning Chinese and Korean.
