What made you decide to study health design?
My goal is to become a registered dietitian because I want to support people's health through food. I chose this department because I felt that I could grow through participating in a wide variety of project activities outside of class and gain a wide range of experience to become a food specialist. What did you learn?
In addition to specialized knowledge about nutrition, in the clinical nutrition training, I learned the knowledge and skills required for a registered dietitian in the clinical field, as well as diet to prevent lifestyle-related diseases. In addition, in classes on nutrition education and counseling, I was able to learn how to build trusting relationships. Furthermore, in order to hone my teaching and communication skills, I also took courses for nutrition teachers. What do you want to work on next?
In order to obtain the latest information myself, I not only learned how to read and write research papers at university, but also took on the challenge of presenting at academic conferences. After graduation, I will work as a registered dietitian at a company. I would like to support employees both physically and mentally while providing them with meals that they will enjoy, while also focusing on their health from the perspective of food and nutrition. I also want to be involved in health management, valuing the attitude of always continuing to learn, based on the experience I gained from studying and participating in projects over my four years at university. What do you want to work on next?
This is a curriculum aimed at obtaining a nutrition teacher license. In university lectures, I learned about the health and nutrition issues facing children today, and the role and necessity of nutrition teachers in schools. In addition, in my fourth year, I went on a teaching internship, and through this practical experience, I was able to once again recognize the importance of supporting health through food not only in schools, but also in the environment surrounding children.
