Learning bookkeeping is very helpful for understanding finance and business management. What made you decide to study accounting and finance?
The fact that it is the only women's university in Japan where you can study accounting and finance professionally was a big attraction. Another reason I chose this university is that it has one of the best employment records among women's universities, and has a strong track record in finding employment. What did you learn?
I am specializing in the field of finance. Many of my teachers have experience working in the financial industry, and they teach me practical knowledge such as indicators used in asset management in an easy-to-understand way, so I am able to experience the fascinating world of finance while learning. I also took the Nissho Bookkeeping Examination in class. I passed the Bookkeeping Level 2 exam in my second year, and am currently continuing to study with the aim of passing Level 3.What do you want to work on next?
After graduation, I will be working at a securities company, where I will be in charge of asset management consulting. This is a job where I can utilize all the finance expertise I have learned so far. In the future, my goal is to become a female manager and expand my career options. I want to further deepen my financial knowledge and realize the career I am aiming for.Which class left an impression on you?
In the "Experimental Finance" class, students use a "Stock Virtual Trading Simulation" system to experience simulated stock trading. They also learn about the causes of actual stock price fluctuations using familiar examples. This course deepened their understanding of stock investment and made them realize how interesting it is.
