[I learned from balancing study abroad and job hunting the importance of not giving up]
There are many globally oriented companies in the food industry where I wanted to work, so I studied abroad at Showa Women's University's Boston campus in the second half of my third year to gain English skills and overseas experience.

Studying abroad in Boston in the Showa era
Since I was studying abroad in Boston right before the opening of the main selection process, it was difficult for me to find time for job hunting.Since my study abroad coincided with an internship in Japan, I participated in internships at nearly 20 companies online from Boston.I sometimes used Zoom for interviews at the Career Support Center based on Japan time.Due to the time difference with Japan, my job hunting activities often ended in the middle of the night, and there were moments when I wanted to give up, but I believe I was supported by my goal of finishing my job hunting with no regrets.I was praised for this experience in interviews, and it made me realize the importance of never giving up and finding what I can do.

Department of Health Science - Study abroad at a nutritionist training school
I believe that the planning skills I learned through my studies were put to good use and I was able to use my time meaningfully.I would like to take advantage of my strength of tenacity and play an active role in society.
